01. Upload Your Media

After you sign in to your Campfyre account, select "Upload" from the navigation menu.

You can add your media to Campfyre by uploading files from local storage or by importing your files from a URL. Any file added to queue will be displayed in the upload table.

If uploading media from local storage:
Begin by clicking "Select file(s)" and selecting the file(s) you want to upload to Campfyre. For your convenience, a list of supported file formats is displayed above the upload table.

If uploading media from URL:
Begin by clicking "Upload from URL". Input your URL into the textbox and click "Add to Queue". For your convenience, example supported URLs are displayed above the upload table.

Simply click "Start Upload" to begin the upload process. You can follow the status of each file using the "Progress" and "Status" columns of the upload table.

Once a file has completed uploading, the encoding process begins behind-the-scenes. You can follow the status of each encode by signing into your RBM.tv account and visiting the "Media Management" section.

The time it takes to upload and encode a file depends on a variety of factors, such as the original file size or the quality of the encode.

Once a file has completed encoding, it will be available for use within the apps you build using Campfyre. But first, you will create need to one or more "Playlists" for your apps to use.
